Our Committees
Industry Relations
Outward-looking. The Industry Relations Committee was created to advocate for professional growth, industry experience, and the continued pursuit of Purdue Engineering excellence. Our events are both geared towards CESAC members and the general student body. To prepare Purdue students for the workforce, we host professional workshops in collaboration with the Purdue CCO, organize a mentorship program with CESAC alumni, and invite alumni to participate in panels with students. Finally, in preparation for CESAC’s annual Fall CE Career Fair, our committee holds a bi-annual Resume Blitz for students, as well as company information sessions.

Community Relations
The face of CESAC. The Community Relations Committee was formed with the goal of connecting students with each other and with faculty to foster a collaborative culture at Purdue. Our committee handles all non-professional events that involve the general student population. These events include monthly Breakfasts with CESAC, semesterly Welcome Back BBQs, callouts, Civil Social shirt sales, new-member recruiting, and Civil Engineering (CE) Week. We also handle all CESAC publicity, ensuring that our events are well advertised to students through class talks, flyers, social media, and promotional emails.

Member Relations
The social butterflies. The Member Relations Committee was formed to foster friendship and mentorship within CESAC. Through informal events that aim to strengthen interpersonal relationships, our committee strives to make CESAC a cohesive and effective team. We host events such as semesterly retreats, inner-socials, mentorship, intramural sports, family dinners, and senior send-offs. Each semester, new themes and events are planned to expose members to new experiences. Member Relations is also in charge of all CESAC apparel.
